This notice covers unitedtechs.net. The main site privacy policy also applies.

Your posts: the display name, title and text you submit, and the time. Approved posts, with the display name, are public. Declined posts stay in the private queue and are deleted automatically after about 30 days.
Hashed IP address: a one-way hash of your IP address is kept with each submission for abuse handling, and briefly (about an hour) for rate limiting. Your actual IP address isn't stored or published.
Cloudflare Turnstile: checks that submissions aren't automated spam. Cloudflare may process your IP address and browser signals and set what it needs for that check.
Moderation log: post ID, time, action, reason and category for each decision.

Member accounts are managed on our main website (see the community memberships section of the main privacy policy). This site sets one sign-in cookie for members, and no tracking cookies. Our own admins and team can also set an optional cookie on their own browsers so their visits are kept out of our counts; visitors never receive it. Page views here are counted as described in the main privacy policy.
We don't sell or share your data for marketing.
