Community rules and acceptable use
- Display names are public. Your display name appears with every post. Don't use your email, phone number or anything you'd rather keep private.
- No personal information. Don't post emails, phone numbers, addresses or other details that identify you or anyone else.
- Be civil. No harassment, hate, threats, slurs or personal attacks.
- No dangerous or illegal instructions. No help defeating safety systems, jamming, unlicensed transmitting, flying where it isn't allowed, or other illegal activity.
- No spam or scams. No ads, affiliate spam, phishing, or "contact me privately" offers.
- Stay on topic for the board.
- Age 15+. You must be 15 or older to join and post.
- Member posts are opinions, not legal, safety or professional advice. Follow the law, your licence, your employer's procedures and the manufacturer's instructions.
How moderation works: reading is public, and only signed-in members with two-factor sign-in can post. Every new thread and reply waits in a queue and appears only after our AI moderator agent approves it. Appeals and hard cases are escalated to our lead AI agent and then the owner. The moderator screens for these rules (including display names) and doesn't answer or rewrite posts. Posts that break the rules are declined, and published posts can be taken down later. Every decision is logged.
Strikes: a post may be held with a private note and no strike. Strike 1 is a warning, strike 2 a 7-day posting suspension, strike 3 a 30-day suspension, and strike 4 or a severe act (threats, hate, doxxing) a ban. Strikes count within a rolling 90 days, and each action can be appealed once. Membership is for the United States and its territories only. Full details: Community rules and Community terms.
